Ordering fruit and grazing platters in Perth: sizes, prices and lead times
Compare current fruit platter sizes, Perth prices and servings per person, with local delivery details and how far ahead to order.
Most of the platters that leave the shop were ordered by phone the day before, cut before the doors open, and picked up on the way to a meeting room, a birthday, or someone’s nan’s place. After twenty-two years of building them we have firm opinions about what makes a good one, so here’s the whole picture: what they cost, how much fruit people actually eat, and when to call.
Current fruit and grazing platter sizes
Our fresh fruit platters in Perth come in two fruit-platter sizes, plus a large grazing platter. These prices match the online catalogue as at 21 July 2026.
Mini fruit platter, $29.99, serves 4 to 6. Choose a 1.7 kg sliced platter or a 1.5 kg chunk platter. If you ring before 11am, we can usually prepare one the same day.
Large fruit platter, $55, serves 12 to 15. The 3.5 kg platter is available sliced or in chunks. Order a day ahead where possible so the team can plan the fruit and preparation time.
Large grazing platter, $95, serves 15 to 20. This is our current ready-to-order grazing board. Phone the shop if you need a different headcount or want to confirm ingredients before ordering.

How much fruit does a crowd actually eat?
The honest rule from years of watching platters come back either licked clean or half-full: about 150 grams of cut fruit per person when it sits alongside other food, roughly double that if the platter is the food, like a morning tea or a fruit-only dessert table.
How much fruit for an office morning tea?
Ten people around a meeting table is a different job from fifty people arriving at once. Using the rule above, these weights are a practical place to start:
| People | Served with other food | Fruit is the main food |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | About 1.5 kg | About 3 kg |
| 20 | About 3 kg | About 6 kg |
| 50 | About 7.5 kg | About 15 kg |
These are planning weights, not fixed platter combinations. The ready-to-order platters use the serving ranges shown on the range page, which allow more fruit per person than the 150 gram side-serve estimate. The right mix also changes if breakfast, pastries or a grazing board are on the same table. Compare the current platter sizes and prices, or send us the headcount through catering for a larger office order.
A few things people get wrong:
- Morning functions eat more fruit than afternoon ones. A 10am platter for twelve disappears; the same board at 4pm comes back a third full.
- Kids’ parties destroy watermelon and strawberries and ignore almost everything else. Tell us it’s for kids and we’ll weight the board that way.
- One showpiece beats two fillers. If the budget is tight, one larger platter cut well looks more generous than two smaller trays padded out.
Winter is a better platter season than people think
Summer gets the glory, but a July board has advantages: the Imperial mandarins are at full song, strawberries are sweet and cheap from the northern growers, and pineapple is reliable year-round. We cut every platter the morning it’s collected, from the same bench stock we sell by the kilo, and nothing is cut and frozen ahead.

How to order
Phone us on (08) 9364 3417 with the headcount, the occasion and any no-go fruit. We’ll recommend a size, quote it, and have it ready to collect from 7am, or delivered if you’re in one of our suburbs. For bigger jobs, a fete, an office of fifty, a wedding brunch, talk to us about catering instead; platters are only the start of what the bench can do.

Common questions
- Do you deliver fruit platters?
- Yes. We deliver across Mount Pleasant, Applecross, Booragoon, Melville and the surrounding suburbs, with a $30 minimum spend before the delivery fee. Delivery is free to Mount Pleasant, Brentwood and Booragoon, and $10 to every other listed suburb. You can also collect from the shop with no minimum.
- How long does a fruit platter keep?
- It's cut fresh the morning you collect it, so it's at its best within 24 hours. Keep it wrapped and refrigerated until you serve, and take it out about twenty minutes beforehand so the fruit isn't fridge-cold on the table.
- What fruit goes on a platter in winter?
- Right now the boards lean on what's at peak: seedless watermelon, rockmelon and honeydew, WA strawberries, kiwifruit, pineapple and mandarin segments. Grapes and blueberries fill the corners. If mango or papaya is in and good, it goes on.
- Can you adjust a platter for dietary preferences?
- Tell us what you would like left out and we can adjust the ingredients. Preparation happens in a working grocer and deli, so we cannot guarantee an allergen-free platter. Please phone the shop before ordering if a severe allergy is involved.
